Methodology
Updated 11 September 2026 · compiled by the editorial team from the services' own pages
Every place in the ranking comes from the table below. The weights are fixed before the services are scored, and the order on the front page is the sum of these numbers — not an opinion.
| Criterion | Weight | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| No account needed | 30 | A swap that needs no sign-up leaves no balance to freeze. |
| Fixed rate available | 25 | A locked quote protects the payout when the network is slow. |
| Networks covered | 20 | Cheap networks (TRC-20, BEP-20) decide the final amount. |
| Support reachable | 15 | A stuck transfer is resolved by people, not by a status page. |
| Rules stated up front | 10 | AML and limits said before the transfer, not after. |
| Coins supported | 8 | A pair that is not listed cannot be swapped at any rate. |
| Years in operation | 6 | A service that survived two market cycles has a track record. |
What is not scored
Fees are not a column here. Instant exchanges keep the spread inside the quote, and it moves — publishing "0.5%" as a fact would be an invention. Where a service states a number itself, it is on that service's page with the date it was checked.
How we are paid
The links marked as such earn a commission. It is paid on the transfer, not on the place in the list: the order follows the weights above and changes only when the facts change. Full disclosure.
